There are two plasma categories in aesthetics, plasma fibroblast therapy and cold atmospheric plasma. Plasma fibroblast therapy uses a pen-like device to create a tiny arc of plasma (ionized gas) that causes thermal micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. Cold plasma is a gentler, non-ablative option that delivers ionized gas to the skin without causing visible damage.
