Our firm Aesthetics-Exchange Inc is the owner of the AeonEx ecommerce platform. AeonEx is a US eCommerce store that matches suppliers and customers in the aesthetics industry re devices, consumables, financing, service, training, and staffing.
We developed the platform to solve two problems for the US aesthetics industry:
a) Problem #1: MedSpas, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other clinicians don’t have a single, credible, and cost-effective source to solve their practice needs. Aesthetic devices are very costly.
AeonEx Solution: Our online store is an industry hub that will provide customers more aesthetic device – and related product - choices from a wide range of suppliers, several of which are exclusive to AeonEx. The products we list are pre-vetted. They must be good value, FDA-compliant (where relevant), and technically suited for their suggested uses. AeonEx won’t allow snake-oil products on our market, and if we receive customer feedback that one of the listings doesn’t meet these criteria, we’ll likely remove it. We present device prices and their technical specifications openly so that customers can compare products.
b) Problem #2: Manufacturers and distributors run costly operations and struggle to reach customers effectively. This is particularly true for international manufacturers trying to enter the US market who struggle to find reliable US partners.
AeonEx Solution: Manufacturers and distributors shall reach thousands of buyers easily at the AeonEx hub and earn more revenue and margin by selling directly to them. Put differently, suppliers can get improved financial returns selling their products via the AeonEx channel. These advantages are significant for international firms who can sell products in the US via AeonEx without having to invest millions into their US operations. For these groups, the platform is a no-cost way to build – or improve – their brand in the US market and to have their products be a consideration in purchasing decisions.
G2) HOW IS AEONEX DIFFERENT FROM OTHER ECOMMERCE STORES LIKE AMAZON AND EBAY?
Great question.
First, we are all about aesthetic product credibility and building trust with our partners and customers. These attributes haven’t been a strength for other platforms.
Second, AeonEx has an ecosystem of service providers that support product sales. What this means for customers is that we have certified trainers for the device they've purchased and service technicians that can provide installations, repairs, and part replacements when needed. In other words, device buyers have full support from the manufacturer’s representatives for their products. Other ecommerce stores don’t provide such critical post-purchase support through the lifetime of the product.
Third, AeonEx wants to list reputable devices on the market. We pre-screen products and require FDA-clearances where necessary. This isn’t the case for aesthetic products from all ecommerce stores.
Fourth, all the AeonEx-listed products have at least one-year warranties for customer peace of mind.
G3) WHERE IS YOUR COMPANY LOCATED?
We are a United States born and raised company and reside in Park City, Utah. Our full team is USA-based. We make every effort to support our customers and won’t simply disappear like other firms have done because they are an ocean away from accountability.
G4) TELL US ABOUT YOUR KEY PEOPLE?
The company founders are six C-Suite (executive) level individuals with broad and deep experience in the US Aesthetic device, consumables and topical markets. Three of the individuals are widely known industry leaders. The team includes:
- CEO JAN PRETORIUS: Jan is a former NYC Strategy Consultant with firms like Booz Allen Hamilton and PwC. He was Head of Strategy and Head of M&A for a global STM giant. He has held multiple CFO roles in aesthetic devices and beyond. Plus, he has led a $70m revenue AI company and is an AI coder himself.
- CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER DR. DALE KOOP: Dale is an industry legend who has built, led and sold several successful aesthetic product companies. Dr. Koop is a physicist who has developed numerous products and holds over 20 patents.G5) WHO ARE YOUR EXISTING CUSTOMERS AND PARTNERS?
We’re very pleased to work with a growing list of leading brands and aesthetic product experts in the industry. Several brands are among the oldest and most widely-known globally. Our clinical and device experts are similarly renowned and provide us with guidance and feedback that that has already had a strong influence on our development. As we mentioned previously, we value credibility and are building trust in our solutions and partners. We are a B2B (business to business) store and have volume-based pricing for our wholesale customers. These customers are primarily MedSpas, dermatology clinics, and plastic surgeons. We do carry home-use products that can be sold to individuals or by our clinic customers to their customers (B2B2C).
G6) DO YOU HAVE AFFILIATE AND REFERRAL PROGRAMS?
Not yet, but they will be in place by the end of August. Partners are very important to us, and we'll set the program up so that our promotors can make tens of thousands of dollars. Come back later.
G7) HOW DO WE KNOW YOU ARE IN THE USA AND NOT SOME ASIAN FIRM MASQUERADING AS A USA SITE?Great question.
We have a US EIN (for taxes), a USA address (Park City, Utah), and a USA telephone number. This likely won't convince many, though. Technical proof is more definitive: Three common methods are 1) You can use an IP geolocation lookup, 2) an EV SSL certificate, or 3) a WHOIS domain record. There are other ways, too, but this should convince a few doubters.
G8) ARE YOU BUYING PRODUCTS FROM ALIBABA AND SHIPPING THEM TO THE US?
We are not.
We do work with Asian suppliers because they have some great products, and you can't easily match their cost advantage. So, do we have a few Chinese suppliers? A firm yes. Korean? Yes. The Koreans are beauty industry innovators and early tech adopters. Japanese? Yes. European? Yes. South American? Yes.
Many companies try to shield their supply chain locations, preferring to be USA-based when very little of the work is done here. That works for them, and perception matters.
We are offering great value products on AeonEx. That’s an imperative for us – the best prices in the US. This holds for premium products, too. However, great value products can't be provided without cost-competitive manufacturing.
G9) DO YOU HAVE AMERICAN SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS WORKING WITH YOU?
Yes, of course we do. Quite a number of them since we're a USA-based firm. Manufacturers and distributors view us as a sales channel (which we are), or - alternatively - as an additional US sales team (which we are).
G10) WHEN WILL AEONEX SELL OUTISE THE US?
We already sell in Canada. But to answer the question: not in 2025 and likely not in 2026 either. We're a young company, and the US is more than big enough for the near term. We have had a number of inquiries from potential international partners who want to take the AeonEx concept to other regions. That can work, but you'll need resources for the journey. email us :-)
You can reach us via email at info@aesthetics-exchange.com during business hours, and we typically respond within 24 hours.
C2) HOW SECURE IS MY DATA WITH YOU?
We take data security seriously. All information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we follow industry best practices for authentication, access control, and security. Your privacy is non-negotiable. You can review our data policy here
C3) WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at info@aesthetics-exchange.com.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 30 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.C4) WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
We can ship to virtually any address in the United States and Canada.
- Home-Use Products (under 10lbs): When you place an order for a Home Use item or items which are mostly under 10 lbs, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
- Professional Devices (10lbs and higher): When you place an order for a Professional Product like an aesthetic device (over 10lbs). we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Shipping rates are weight based and rounded up to the next full pound. For large and high-value items like aesthetic lasers, we will contact you directly to provide more accurate delivery dates and to discuss second payment specifics (after the initial deposit is placed).
a) Simple and no cost & low-risk direct access to the USA aesthetic market in weeks.
There is no cost to listing products on A-E and we don’t require US market exclusivity. We can work alongside your US partners like distributors or agents and even pass qualified leads to them. In addition, listing is simple and A-E does most of the work.
b) Earn 200%+ more $ per US device sale - for devices that cost more than $5,000 - with attractive pricing.
Selling direct to US clinic customers at the end-user price earns 200%+ more per sale vs. a US distributor transfer price, while you maintain competitive pricing. AeonEx has transaction fees are in the 9-15% range (less than Amazon), with higher-cost items having a lower blended % rate. In addition, you can control your US budget and product pricing, and guide both US branding and marketing.
c) You determine your A-E revenue model.
You determine your US business model. We prefer direct sales on A-E at the end-user price (for devices over $5,000), but we can enter into a distributor agreement if that’s what you prefer. We typically distribute items like topicals and consumables below $2,000.
d) AeonEx has services to support your US operation.
A-E has a US ecosystem of service providers such as device trainers, service technicians, marketing pros, logistics providers, and equipment financiers. This ecosystem can assist with US operations setup, FDA clearances, and other business activities. What this means for customers is that we have certified trainers for the device they've purchased and service technicians that can provide installations, repairs, and part replacements when needed. A-E Also carries device consumables and parts inventory.
S2) HOW WILL LOGISTICS BE CONFIGURED?
The model has some flexibility. Suppliers can ship their devices directly to US customers if that’s suitable. Otherwise A-E will receive the device before transferring it to a US Customer.
S3) DO YOU HAVE A DIRECT SALES TEAM IN THE US?
Yes. When they originate or close a sale they get paid a market commission % like any sales team. For clarity: this cost is a cost for the manufacturer that we pay on their behalf.
S4) WHO IS A DEVICE SALE CONTRACT BETWEEN?
Between the Supplier and the device customer in the direct to customer sale model (as opposed to the distributor model).
S5) IS THE DEVICE CONTRACT WITH THE CUSTOMER A SALE AT THE END-USER PRICE?
Yes. Correct.
S6) HOW DOES A DEVICE SALE’S SERVICE PROVISION WORK?
A-E’s ecosystem has service firm contractors – like trainers, technicians, and ‘closers’ - that you can include in a sale or contract with on an as-needed basis.
Two examples of this:
- A device is sold to a customer who wants in-person training. A contractor that is proficient with the device in question will deliver that training and will be paid out of the sale’s proceeds.
- An independent US salesperson closes a sale on the manufacturer or distributor’s behalf. They would receive a commission from that sale.
In both cases, the manufacturer or distributor would receive the device sale price less the AeonEx fee and the independent contractor (trainer and/or salesperson) fee.
